2006 - GamePlan is born
Our story kicks off back in 2006 when our amazing Founder, Tracy Robertson, decided to shake things up after leaving the marketing team at Cisco Systems. Tracy spotted something fascinating: technology partners were leaving Marketing Development Funds (MDF) unused, because they were too swamped to use them! Armed with this lightbulb moment, she launched a mission to create hassle-free marketing campaigns that would make partners' lives easier and their results better. 2012 - GamePlan is Incorporated
For several years, Tracy worked as a freelance Marketing Director helping technology companies focus their marketing operations. Then in 2012 Tracyโs partner-in-crime, Jeff Seymour (President of GamePlan, and ex-Bay street trader) started to get involved in GamePlan.
One of the first things Jeff did was to incorporate the business and switch the company title from GamePlan Marketing Solutions to GamePlan Marketing Inc.

2013 - We become a HubSpot Partner
In the summer of 2013 we became a HubSpot Partner! HubSpot is an excellent tool that allows businesses to centralize their sales and marketing initiatives, CRM database, website development and social media management all in one compact but powerful platform.
Our partnership with HubSpot allows us to provide our clients with preferred pricing, and to help them navigate the HubSpot platform with ease.

2014 - Dexter & Jac join the show ๐
Jeff hires his adorable puppy, Dexter, as the entry-level assistant, and pencil-pusher extroardinaire (this is a real photo of Dexter, in case you were wondering!).
However, Dexter's design and marketing expertise were found to be sorely lacking! So shortly afterwards, Jacqueline Fedory joined the team as an entry-level Marketing Coordinator. We're proud to say she was our first hire and she's still with us today - which means we must be doing something right, right?! ๐

2015 - We launch our first Executive Door Opener (EDO)
For many years after this, we were known as THE agency to call up for high-quality Executive Door Openers. Our EDO's became so popular that we literally had companies calling us from Brazil about them!
But the age of sending unsolicited packages with high-value gift offers (such as xboxes, golf clubs and tablets) have gone the way of the Dodo. ๐ค

2019 - GamePlan grows!
At this point we had a handful of full-time employees, and additional 3rd party contractors that we had established solid relationships with. Our numbers were growing!

2020 - The year we went all-in on LinkedIn
2020 was the year we dove headfirst into the LinkedIn Ads universe. Why LinkedIn? Because its advanced targeting capabilities make LinkedIn an excellent digital advertising platform for b2b tech companies to engage with business decision makers.
Enter our secret weapon: Nicole Afonso, our LinkedIn Ads expert who eats certifications for breakfast and breathes campaign optimization. Let's just say when life gave us lemons in 2020, we didn't just make lemonade โ we targeted it to exactly the right audience, optimized the conversion rate, and A/B tested the perfect amount of sugar. And now we've emerged as LinkedIn advertising veterans who can navigate the platform like we built it ourselves! ๐
